Android Apps of the Week! – January 8, 2012
Welcome to another edition of DroidLessons.com’s “Android Apps of the Week!”. The plan is to compile a list of my favorite apps and share them with you on the Sunday of every week. It will give you plenty of time to try out the apps and then also something to look forward to on a weekly basis. It’s always fun to learn about the latest and greatest apps out there. The Android market has over 300,000 apps and therefore it’s not always easy finding quality apps via the Android Market. My hope is to save you some time by sharing and informing you of the quality apps that I have found over the many months of using and teaching on the Android platform.
So, without further ado, I present to you this week’s edition of “Android Apps of the Week!”.
Shoot the Apple
By: DroidHen
Cost: FREE
Shoot the Apple is a fun little game, especially if you are a fan of the Angry Birds style gameplay. In this game, you have to shoot an Alien out of a cannon in order to find the Apple. In each stage, the Apple is hidden behind different obstacles that make it increasingly more difficult to find. Some of the levels can be too easy… but nevertheless, it can be a fun and addictive game.
Want to check it out for yourself? Just go to the “Market” icon on your phone and click the search button and type in “Shoot the Apple”. Install the app and start having some fun! I’ve also included a link to the Android Market Webstore here for those of you that want to install it via the web. [Market Link]
