BlueStacks released – Allows you to run Android apps on your Windows PC!

The BlueStacks app player for Windows was finally released today! BlueStacks gives you the ability to run all of your favorite Android apps on your Windows PC. How is that possible? BlueStacks uses virtualization software to bring the Android OS experience directly to your Windows desktop. It’s a bit complicated… but all you really need to know is that their hard work has paid off and now we can run Android apps on Windows!

The BlueStacks Android Player was released for alpha testing today along with the Android App Syncer.  The App Syncer application allows you to sync any Android app on your device with the BlueStacks cloud service. After being synced, the apps will then become available for use on your PC via the BlueStacks Android Player.

After testing this out, all I can say is that I’m seriously impressed. I’ve been eagerly anticipating the arrival of this software for quite some time! Granted, it is still in Alpha testing and some of the apps that I tried “syncing” over did not work. But that’s to be expected in an early release of the software. I’m sure it will improve dramatically before the final release. If this interests you, give it a try today and let us know how it works for you!

I'm a huge Android fan and also the founder of the DroidLessons website. I started obsessing about the Android platform as soon as I got my HTC EVO phone in mid-2010. Ever since then, I have been obsessed with learning all that I can about the Android OS and sharing that knowledge with my friends and family.

I used it and even synced it from the apps on my cell !! Few of them are working fine like tweetcaster pro, gmail, ak notepad, talking tom pro ! facebook, viber, etc did not get synced.

It was easy to sync and wonderful using.

I have couple of wishes :

    1. Hope they give an option to minimize the running app, as switching over to diff app is tough every time. (using win+tab)

2.It is quite slow. Well i expect once the PRO version is out, we wont have issues with speed.
