You can add or remove App icons from any of the home screens whenever you would like. Why would you want to place app shortcuts on your home screen? Simply put, it’s a much quicker way to access your favorite apps. It eliminates the need to go to your App Drawer every time you want to open one of your apps. NOTE: If “Apps” does not appear as an option when adding an icon to your home screen then instead click on “Shortcuts” and then “Applications” to see the list of your Apps.

I'm a huge Android fan and also the founder of the DroidLessons website. I started obsessing about the Android platform as soon as I got my HTC EVO phone in mid-2010. Ever since then, I have been obsessed with learning all that I can about the Android OS and sharing that knowledge with my friends and family.

Thanks for the tut. It’s so easy once you’ve been shown but the first few hours of using an Android Device takes a bit of getting used to.

Please add transcripts of your videos so we don’t have to take the time to view the entire video.

Also please state what version of Android you are using. Your UI looks a lot different from my Droid 3, Android 2.3.4.

    Thanks.
